Wendy Bouie
Trained as a child in classical piano, Wendy began singing and songwriting at age twelve. Interested in becoming a lyricist, she enrolled in songwriting workshops in Toronto. While trying to establish herself as a singer/songwriter, Wendy moved to Montreal to further her quest for Music. Her chance meeting, with her now husband, Fern Bouie, ignited a partnership in music. Together they own and operate The Sound Module Inc., a Recording Studio and all equipped practice facility in Montreal, Canada. Their combined efforts have expanded to include Publishing.
Wendy’s music and lyrics, poignant to women’s struggles, mirror her own personal growth. The pop flair of the 70’s drives her writing style. Wendy writes with a classical edge and expresses her views on love, life and the sometimes painful world we live in. She is currently performing songs from the “Home Again” CD – Unplugged.
Wendy is also the Creative Director of Reel Publishing where her theatrical crescendos and musical interludes are available for exploitation in film and television where the emphasis is on the music and the lyrical content of the song.
