Broken Hearted
Born and raised on the mean streets of Montreal, a couple of guys with the same remarkable dream got together and formed the Broken Hearted. Their ambition is to produce captivating music, tour, and share their music with the world... The unique combination of talent and energy can be heard on their recordings and experienced at their shows. First there’s Beau Kavanagh (lead guitar and vocals) whose special powers include blistering solos and rockin’ a microphone. Next, we have Rye “the Duke” Bradley (rhythm guitar, back-up vocals) Known for his harmonizin' riffs and aggressive guitar poses. Then we have Steve Creep (bass and back-ups) whose got the skill to pay the bill; keepin' it alive, and keepin' it funky. Finally we have Matt Lavender (drums and back-up vocals) notorious for his heavy-hitting beats, punishing solos and harsh vocals. All this makes for one hell of a rock and roll band with a common disregard for public safety. For years, the Broken Hearted was well known for being a blues band. They released two full-length records of original material with Canadian label Justin Time Records. During that time they played jazz and blues festivals in Montreal and across Canada. Now independent for some time, the Broken Hearted have made the fateful transition to rock and roll. They play shows intensely in and around Montreal, but are aiming to cross the American border.
